NPC Gift Basics

In Ragnarok X: Next Generation, you can build relationships with NPCs by giving them gifts. This system rewards players who take the time to increase their intimacy with key characters throughout the game world.

How to Check NPC Gifting Progress

You can check your NPC Gifting progress by going to your Academy Handbook, then open the NPCs tab.

From here, you'll find all of the list and the amount of progress you have with the NPCs. You can also claim here all of the rewards you get from the NPC.

How to Unlock NPC Gifting

You need to complete specific condition for you to gift the NPC. Once you have completed the condition, you'll get a notification you have unlocked the favor to the NPC. From here, the Gift icon will appear every time you talk to the NPC.

Then click Gift button at the message box near the NPC's avatar.

Then you can gift any item to the NPC, the progress will significantly increase when you give their favorite gift.

Kingdom Pass Quest Tips

Attention to everyone, since the number of NPCs you can gift is limited, and this was recently added as part of the daily quest for Kingdom Pass. Eventually, you will complete all of the available NPC gifting and reached the 100% favor. When this happens, there will no longer be any NPCs to gift.

NPC Enchantment Buff Weekly Quest

For all unlocked NPC enchantment favor, here are the two buffs you can get from the Weekly Favor Quests:

• Magic Perception: Grants a chance of conserving enchantment items when enchanting. (Disappears after taking effect 3 times.)
• Magic Surge: Grants a slightly higher chance of leveling up equipment when enchanting. (Disappears after taking effect 3 times.)

Aside from the enchantment buff, you also need to gather items to complete the weekly quest.

Enchantment NPCs

Enchantment NPCs are among the most important characters to build intimacy with, as they provide valuable buffs for the enchantment process. These NPCs are found in every major city and specialize in different equipment types.

Updates

[UPDATE as of 02/18/2022] – Ragnarok X Next Generation finally releases the level 15 caps for Enchantment. Together with that, favor gift for every enchantment NPC in all cities are now giftable, you can now unlock their favors by enchanting 50 times.

Common Rewards

All NPC listed has a common favor rewards when you reach certain intimacy levels:

• 20%: Adventure Experience +1
• 50%: Adventure Experience +2
• 100%: Adventure Experience +5
• 100%: Unlocks next Enchantment Level cap (Lv. 15) and Weekly Quests

Unlocking Enchantment NPC Favor

For all enchantment NPCs, you need to enchant equipment 50 times to unlock the ability to gift them. This count is specific to each city, so you'll need to enchant in each location separately to unlock all NPCs.

Common Favorite Gifts

While each enchantment NPC has their specific favorite items, there are patterns in what they prefer:

• Weapon Enchanters: Old Weapons (+1.66%), Swordfish (+1.66%), Fishing Materials (+1.0%), Instance Extra Drop (Gift) (+1.0%), NPC/COC Materials (+0.33%)
• Armor Enchanters: Butterfly Cowrie (+1.66%), Crystal Rose (+1.66%), Fishing/Gardening Materials (+1.0%), Bait/NPC/COC Materials (+0.33%)
• Accessory Enchanters: Leaf Bookmark (+1.66%), Arcane Flower (+1.66%), Gardening Extra Drop/Materials (+1.0%), NPC/COC/Bait Materials (+0.33%)
